Michael I. Santucci, Esq. has a well established concentration in litigation of intellectual property and commercial issues including trade secrets, the arts and entertainment, trademarks, copyrights, computer and e-commerce, business and corporate matters.
Mr. Santucci was an original member of the litigation team with Melvin K. Silverman, Johnnie Cochran, Willie E. Gary in the 2002 landmark case of All Pro Sports Camps, Inc. vs. Walt Disney Company in which he helped obtain a record $240,000,000 for his clients.
Michael Santucci represented Miss Vermont in another highly publicized internet-related First Amendment case which involved the protection of privacy rights of celebrities. In a trademark infringement suit against international rap star Nelly, Mr. Santucci acts as lead counsel for the musical group Vokal, and has been quoted in numerous publications and Internet media worldwide through international wire service articles published by United Press International, The Associated Press, and The BBC, and was featured in Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly magazines. As a result of his representation, his cli ent Vokal was featured on the television show "Celebrity Justice."
The service Michael Santucci provides to his clients has made him subject of many newspaper and magazine articles, in publications such as The New York Times, Newsweek, Miami Herald, SunSentinel, Daily Business Review, and Business in Broward Magazine. In representing his clients he has appeared in interviews broadcast on CBS and ABC television.
Mr. Santucci is currently Legal Advisor to the South Florida Crime Commission, co-owner of popular South Florida restaurant Hobo's Fish Joint II, an avid musician, songwriter and martial artist.
